Data Validation
Before allowing the opportunity to open to investors, we investigate all claims and facts made in a company's pitch. We check to make sure every statement is concise, and not deceptive. We ask each company to offer more proof to support any material assertions of truth, make changes to the representations, or remove them altogether.
Safeguards
Before allowing the opportunity to open to investors, we perform all due diligence checks required by the ECSPR (Regulation (EU) 2020/1503).
Investor-Founder communication
We give investors direct access to the businesses and entrepreneurs raising money on the platform. This gives investors the chance to ask for more information that matters to them. Investors have a variety of options, including scheduling meetings and asking questions, directly on the dedicated project page on the platform, or privately to the founder.
Compliance
Based on the authorization obtained from the Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) requires us to protect investors in a number of ways, including:
- Applying KYC/AML procedures and verifying the identity of every investor on the platform.
- Entry knowledge test and simulation of the ability to bear loss.
- Informing about the financial risks.
- Monitoring investment activities.
Post-investment support
We work directly with startups to assist them in producing frequent and meaningful investor updates as well as assisting them in planning biannual meetings for better communication. Founders and investors can interact at any time using Circle, our networking tool, in private groups.
We do not perform a legal, -financial or commercial due diligence process on the companies raising money on SeedBlink platform, and we are unable to offer customized due diligence in accordance with a certain investor's unique investment thesis. Hence, before making an investment decision, we encourage all investors to conduct their own due diligence as they see fit and in accordance with their own risk assessment.
